    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking an Aviation/Airport Terminal Construction Manager (Terminal Concourse) to join our Facilities Sector. The Construction Manager is responsible for managing the scope, cost, schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the program. The Construction Manager will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery and making sure that construction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on the project. The Construction Manager will support the development and implementation of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans, impacts to the operations, ensuring that risk mitigation for construction activities are optimized, working and coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring our client's standards are adhered to.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor all on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of the project.</li>\n <li>Apply comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation.</li>\n <li>Ensure construction operations follow approved work plans and Area Shutdown Requests (ASR’s) and all proper notifications are made</li>\n <li>Become thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities to be erected</li>\n <li>Ensure all work is being performed with and inspected to the latest versions of plans and specifications, including approved changes, submittals and RFI’s</li>\n <li>Work with Design/Builder and stakeholders to develop the overall planning of construction activities and identify critical milestones and priorities</li>\n <li>Monitor budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule</li>\n <li>Monitor the assignment of man power, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals</li>\n <li>Keep alert to possible problem areas and take preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project</li>\n <li>Ensure the use of sound and safe construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost</li>\n <li>Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activiti es for higher-level management and clients</li>\n <li>Ensure effective implementation of all policies and procedures, including project labor agreement policies</li>\n <li>Contribute to the advancement of ADG’s goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholders</li>\n <li>Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate</li>\n <li>Participate in all necessary coordination meetings with the Design/Builder, trade partners, stakeholders, LAWA Operations, etc.</li>\n <li>Review Contractor Potential Change Order Claims for Merit and negotiate to final resolution</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required</li>\n <li>Master's degree preferred</li>\n <li>Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications</li>\n <li>10 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects</li>\n <li>Experience with projects more than $100 million in value.</li>\n <li>Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build</li>\n <li>Proven ability to perform in a management capacity</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.</li>\n <li>Multiple positions are anticipated – Submitted experience to emphasis airport con course scope, airport headhouse scope, or site/civil scope.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PM Web)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary Range: $148,000 to $167,000 yearlyLocation: Los Angeles, CA</p>\n<p>Work Environment: Onsite</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p><strong>Cordoba Corporation, Making a Difference</strong></p>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
