    "description": "<h2>OBJECTIVE</h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Casualty Claims Representative Objective</strong></p>\n<p>To provide efficient adjustment, processing, and settlement of casualty claims, including large and/or complex casualty claims consistent in accordance with established adjusting procedures while providing a <em>WOW!</em> customer experience and also controlling loss and loss adjustment expenses.</p>\n<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Casualty Claims Representative Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>Investigate and interpret policy as it pertains to the loss, including large and/or above-average complicated claims, evaluate liability, negotiate settlement or declination, and defend Farm Bureau insureds according to Farm Bureau insurance contracts. Accomplish function under minimal supervision with emphasis on customer service and controlling loss and loss adjustment expenses.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Evaluate insurance coverage based on loss notice, insurance policies, applicable statutes and case law to determine if insurance coverage is afforded.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Obtain all documentation necessary to determine liability and damages of alleged bodily injury or property damage through a thorough investigation focusing on key issues.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>QUALIFICATIONS</h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Casualty Claims Representative Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor's degree required, with emphasis on insurance preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minimum five to ten years’ experience required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must possess outstanding listening and customer service skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge of computers and various software including Microsoft Office products required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Designation in AIC, CPCU, SCLA or similar insurance designation required, or actively being pursued.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Note:</strong> Farm Bureau offers a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PM19</p>",
