    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Pay range for this position is $28.39/hr - $29.48/hr.   This is a mid-level position to work as a Material Handler. Applicants may be assigned any Material Handler Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned to operate equipment including (but not limited to): receive/issue material at Warehouses and Facilities, maintain accurate inventory, operate fork lifts, operate barcode scanners and operate hand tools (Banders, etc.)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Education/Training</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous fork-lift experience required with the ability to demonstrate proficiency at time of interview.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.   <strong></strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous forklift experience with demonstrated proficiency required.  </li>\n <li>More than 1 year of warehousing experience preferred.  </li>\n <li>Previous BIW Material Handling experience or familiarity with BIW material Handling process preferred. </li>\n <li>Intermediate computer skills and use of barcode scanners.  </li>\n <li>Must meet the requirements of the Material Handler physical task analysis, to include climbing stairs/ladders and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license.  </li>\n</ul>",
