Verify effectiveness of the sanitation program by performing regular audits and communicating results to plant leadership team.</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Essential Functions</span></strong></p>&bull; Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation program to ensure compliance and effectiveness<br><br><p>&bull; Maintain and update Master Sanitation Schedule</p><p>&bull; Provide direction, training, education, and technical support to ensure effective deployment of sanitation policies and procedures</p><p>&bull; Work with plant to ensure they have the systems, knowledge, capabilities, and practices to comply with all pertinent food regulations, company programs, procedures, and customer requirements including:</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; o Prerequisite programs and HACCP, GMPs, sanitation programs, sanitary design and infrastructure, microbiological controls including environmental monitoring, allergen controls, pest controls, traffic control, internal audits, food safety &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; and quality management systems, and regulatory compliance</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o Proper record-keeping of results; effective and efficient reporting mechanisms that meet requirements and regulations and keep plant leadership informed of progress</p><p>&bull; Partner with plant management team for successful completion of third-party, regulatory, and customer audits</p><p>&bull; Monitor emerging issues related to sanitation and food safety</p><p>&bull; Assist with sanitary design of equipment and setting standards for maintaining cleaning equipment; work with plant team to verify and validate all SSOPs</p><p>&bull; Manage chemical control within the sanitation department, working with plant chemical provider; order and maintain inventory for sanitation department materials and manage inventory to keep within department budget</p><p>&bull; Provide guidance during special plant sanitation issues including microbiological and environmental control investigations</p><p>&bull; Ensure the plant designs, develops, and implements hazardous waste management plans</p><p>&bull; Manage safety requirements including SOPs, PPE, accident prevention, and accident and incident investigations</p><p>&bull; Foster a sense of team responsibility for achieving goals</p><p>&bull; Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products</p><p>&bull; Perform other job-related duties as assigned</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)</span></strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor of Science degree preferred and/or 4+ years of experience in implementing sanitation programs</p><p>&bull; 4+ years of management experience preferred</p><p>&bull; GFSI, FDA, and State Department of Agriculture experience preferred</p><p>&bull; HACCP and PCQI certification preferred</p><p>&bull; Experience developing and managing to a budget preferred</p><p>&bull; Experience with Microsoft Office</p><p>&bull; Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching skills with an intense desire to drive positive change, develop interdepartmental relationships, and deliver results</p><p>&bull; Strong decision-making skills with the ability to think quickly and handle frequent change</p><p>&bull; Ability to establish rapport quickly, communicating with ease, skill, and conviction</p><p>&bull; Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to lead and support multiple projects</p><p>MON123</p><p>RISE123</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><em>California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C.
