The position also supports business process improvement efforts including projects to enhance automation, quality, and efficiency. Respect everyone, all persons, and all the things created.</p><p><strong>Bravery</strong>: To do what is right, even in the most difficult of times.</p><p><strong>Honesty</strong>: Be honest in every action and provide good feelings in your heart.</p><p><strong>Wisdom</strong>: We cherish knowledge; wisdom is used for the good of the people.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Humility</strong>: Know that you are equal to everyone else, no better, no less.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>In this Role:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort&rsquo;s Four Diamond Standards.</li><li>Maintain a high level of personal integrity on and off duty.</li><li>Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment.</li><li>Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities.</li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Key Point of contact for Marketing Management for report writing and analysis, including data validation.</li><li>Reviews findings with and makes actionable recommendations to leadership.</li><li>Assists Marketing Management in analyzing the effectiveness of programs and promotions by utilizing data mining, post forms, test and control, behavior change, ROI evaluation, and any other effective methodology.</li><li>Responsible for both conceiving and writing necessary report documentation and also responsible for analyzing the report results in order to identify trends and relevant artifacts associated with the data.&nbsp;</li><li>Examines and evaluates the purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing format, use, and control.</li><li>Recommends the establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.</li><li>Builds reporting solutions based on both existing and new requirements, analyzing, and improving upon the performance of existing SQL queries.</li><li>Works with Marketing to manage database integrity, accuracy, and hygiene.&nbsp;</li><li>Completes daily, weekly, and monthly operational and marketing reports.</li><li>Performs analytical requests and research projects for internal parties. Special projects as assigned by management.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as requested.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Essential Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Must be 21+ years of age.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field required or 4 years of direct relatable professional experience. Master&rsquo;s Degree preferred.</li><li>Strong Excel/PowerPoint knowledge.</li><li>Highly skilled in SQL Server writing, debugging, and code modification required as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries, views, store procedures, and functions and then utilize those in report development.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong quantitative, analytical, and strategic skills working with large data sets specific to casino data.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to research and report on problems and solutions with a fine attention to detail. Ability to understand sophisticated mathematical models and concepts.</li><li>Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.</li><li>Work independently with limited supervision.</li><li>Communicate effectively across multiple departments.</li><li>Demonstrates integrity and exercises discretion in handling confidential information.</li><li>Good understanding of the organization&rsquo;s goals and objectives.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.</li><li>Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.</li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.</li><li>Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.</li><li>Prior experience in a gaming environment preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.</li><li>Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to sit, walk, stand, run, and climb stairs for the duration of shift.</li><li>Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without assistance.</li><li>Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.</li><li>Ability to stoop, crouch and kneel.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Work Conditions:</u></strong></p><p>Work is typically performed in an office environment. &nbsp;However, work may be conducted in the casino, which may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke.&nbsp;Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area.
