The school is committed to delivering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full academic and personal potential.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to join us as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people in their learning and development and will be eager to gain hands-on experience within a busy all-through school environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apprenticeship Summary</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:</span> £12,480 per year (based on £8.00 per hour)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Week:</span> Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm (including 30-minute lunch)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> 30 hours per week</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apprenticeship Training:</span> Online apprenticeship training supported by skilled tutors</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification:</span> Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship standard</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Northwest House, Tinsley Lane North, Crawley, RH10 9TP</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45)\">** September 2026 start **</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will work under the direction of teaching staff to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing across the school. You will assist in delivering high-quality learning support, help maintain a positive classroom environment,and contribute to the overall ethos of the school. You will support individuals and small groups of pupils, helping them to access learning and develop confidence both academically and socially.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main Duties</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons</li>\n<li>Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning</li>\n<li>Assist in maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment</li>\n<li>Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development</li>\n<li>Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials</li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring and recording pupil progress as directed</li>\n<li>Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policy</li>\n<li>Contribute to a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment</li>\n<li>Supervise pupils during lessons, break times or school activities where required</li>\n<li>Carry out general classroom support tasks (e.g. photocopying, displays, organisation of resources)</li>\n<li>Support safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection procedures</li>\n<li>Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school</li>\n<li>Attend training sessions and meetings as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Candidate</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting children’s learning and development.
