You will oversee the quality of advice provided, whether delivered directly or through team members, ensuring high standards across all engagements.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>In addition to technical delivery, you will play a key role in developing the Private Client offering, supporting business development initiatives, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the team. You will also liaise across departments and with clients, HMRC, and third parties to provide comprehensive, high-complexity private client tax services.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading and delivering private client tax advisory projects, preparing complex advisory reports for partner review</li>\n<li>Managing a portfolio of primarily advisory clients, overseeing compliance and ensuring timely, accurate returns</li>\n<li>Supporting the development and growth of the Private Client advisory offering</li>\n<li>Providing formal and informal training and mentoring to junior team members and trainees</li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with current tax legislation, briefing the team, and generating business development ideas</li>\n<li>Managing client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value</li>\n<li>Contributing to business development through seminars, networking, and industry publications</li>\n<li>Writing articles, presentations, and technical literature to enhance the firm’s profile and generate work</li>\n<li>Working collaboratively with other senior Private Client, Business Services, and Corporate Tax managers on cross-department initiatives</li>\n<li>Representing the firm as a technical expert, including participation in HMRC consultations</li>\n<li>Promoting diversity, equality, and collaboration within the team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You</span></p>\n<p>As a technically skilled and commercially aware private client tax professional, you will be confident in managing complex advisory and compliance work while supporting the growth and development of a team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will bring:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience in private client tax advisory and compliance</li>\n<li>Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of private client areas</li>\n<li>Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality advice</li>\n<li>Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing advisory reports and technical publications</li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines</li>\n<li>A proactive, commercially minded approach to identifying opportunities and delivering value</li>\n<li>A collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to diversity and inclusion</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the rewards</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays</li>\n<li>Career progression</li>\n<li>Electric Car scheme</li>\n<li>Cycle to Work Scheme</li>\n<li>Life Assurance</li>\n<li>Group Personal Pension Plan</li>\n<li>Flexible Holiday Purchase Scheme</li>\n<li>Enhanced Family Pay – maternity, paternity, parental, and compassionate leave</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 confidential helpline as well as online support</li>\n</ul>",
