    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hunt Electric, Inc</span>. is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician </span>to support our Industrial and Automation division. This position is primarily field-based and focused on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving industrial electrical systems across a variety of heavy industrial environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician</span> role is for individuals with hands-on electrical or maintenance experience with strong background in power distribution, motor controls, and industrial troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, working with motors and drives, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain three-phase power distribution systems (480V through 120V).</li>\n<li>Diagnose and repair motor control systems including contactors, overloads, soft starters, and VFDs.</li>\n<li>Perform hands-on maintenance of pumps, conveyors, crushers, and other industrial equipment.</li>\n<li>Install and modify electrical systems in industrial environments.</li>\n<li>Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and one-line diagrams.</li>\n<li>Perform terminations, splicing, conduit installation, and panel wiring.</li>\n<li>Conduct load calculations, voltage drop verification, and verify proper overcurrent protection.</li>\n<li>Use test equipment including multimeters, amp probes, megohm meters, and power quality meters.</li>\n<li>Support basic PLC and control systems troubleshooting (I/O checks, field device verification).</li>\n<li>Work safely in industrial facilities including mines, asphalt plants, sand and gravel operations, manufacturing plants, and similar environments.</li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with NEC and site-specific safety standards.</li>\n<li>Mindset for troubleshooting and quick thinking.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</li>\n<li>Be a self starter.</li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience.</li>\n<li>Experience troubleshooting motors, three-phase systems, and control circuits.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of motor starters, VFDs, and basic relay logic.</li>\n<li>Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and prints independently.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with 480V power systems.</li>\n<li>Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (no advanced programming required).</li>\n<li>Exposure to Ethernet/IP or industrial networking.</li>\n<li>Experience working in MSHA-regulated environments.</li>\n<li>Willingness to work overtime as needed.</li>\n<li>Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license preferred.</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.</li>\n<li>Ability to pass background check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician</span>, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Hunt Electric</span></p>\n<p>Hunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
