Position Overview
Reporting to the Store Leader, the Assistant Store Leader of Visual Merchandising directs activities required to achieve store goals. In addition to driving high levels of guest and associate engagement, these goals include sales objectives, payroll and expense management, loss prevention targets and merchandise presentation standards.
The Visual Assistant Store Leader provides guests with exceptional service by building relationships, sharing product knowledge and creating a well-designed, compelling store environment. This leader drives excellence and provides leadership in all aspects of store operations with a special focus on elevating the quality and consistency visual design.
Primary Responsibilities

· Proactively provide timely feedback to associates, rewarding and recognizing achievement

· Facilitate associate and keyholder training
Process
· Consistently meet or exceed store and individual goals
· Plan, execute and maintain floor sets, refreshes and window installations
· Lead floor sets/refresh management, manage seasonal décor placement
· Co-manage product replenishment
· Manage mannequin placement and design
· Co-manages store atmosphere – scent, music, lay out
· Control workflow through successful planning and delegation
· Execute task directives within designated time frames
· Complete opening/closing procedures
· Adhere to loss prevention practices and report potential incidents
· Communicate effectively with executive team
Presentation
· Utilize and manage the use of weekly reporting to track, analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales
· Interpret Home Office visual communication through Store Leader / District Leader partnership
· Partner with the Visual District Leader to oversee and manage the roll-out of floor sets, window sets, fixture placement and overall visual environment
· Maintain an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment
· Manage placement of new product
· Communicate product performance and offer feedback to the Visual District Leader

Desired Education and Experience
· 1+ year of retail supervisory experience required
· 1+ year of experience in apparel preferred
· 1+ year of guest service experience preferred
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study preferred
