Don't think traditional retail, Bonobos is something you haven't seen before.</p>\n<h2>Location Name</h2>New York Office\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Note: This position will support Bonobos Tailored & Outerwear.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p>\n<p>Bonobos is seeking a Technical Designer to independently determine & set all garment engineering standards for product development & final production, arrange & lead cross-functional fit sessions, manage risks, sample tracking & influence calendar/workflow for a specified garment category or categories.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborates with Designers and Merchants to understand the design concept/vision and influence changes as needed to help ensure the product, fit, function, price & delivery goals can be successfully achieved in a bulk production scenario</li>\n <li>Establishes & records all technical owned garment specifications within BeProduct to direct & enable our world-wide technical partners to develop & produce high quality & appropriately engineered products</li>\n <li>Leads fit sessions with Designers & Merchants by adhering to the established EXP fit roles & responsibilities guidelines</li>\n <li>Evaluated product to predict and manage risk from design concept through final production approval</li>\n <li>Records fit session comments & ensures plan of action including product status is clearly understood & aligned upon all cross-functional teams</li>\n <li>Utilizes Gerber Accumark, Illustrator & Vendor virtual sampling capabilities as needed to expedite & clearly communicate garment specifications & changes</li>\n <li>Tracks and manages all fit samples/packages</li>\n <li>Collaborates to arrange & manage all outlook planners for each fit session</li>\n <li>Calibrates new vendor technical partners</li>\n <li>Determines when a product fit, use & application of trims & all other engineering is commercially approvable & ready for mass production</li>\n <li>Ensures content of all final Tech packs including labeling, marketing and packing requirements are compliant with Express category standards and/or Merchant approved expectations</li>\n <li>Upholds & improves department-specific technical standards, record keeping, process, procedures & tools </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: College degree or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Experience: Minimum 4 years Technical Design within the apparel industry</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)</li>\n <li>Consistently demonstrated strong leadership within live fit sessions & other cross-functional team meetings</li>\n <li>Leverages a strong understanding of garment engineering, apparel factory operations & patternmaking to achieve business goals</li>\n <li>Models agility/ability to multitask & adapt to change</li>\n <li>Proven ability to independently, consistently & appropriately manage risk at all stages of product development</li>\n <li>Proven ability to independently lead and influence through clear and consistent actions in a cross-functional team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to manage & follow through on a task from start to finish within a specified timeline without supervision</li>\n <li><p>Experience with BeProduct, Adobe Illustrator CS6, Accumark 10.3, Microsoft and Google products</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits and Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>PHOENIX offers a range of benefits to help protect full-time associates health and long-term financial security including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, pharmacy, dental and vision coverage</li>\n <li>401(k) and Roth 401(k) with Company match</li>\n <li>Merchandise discount</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Parental leave for new moms and dads</li>\n</ul>\n<p>For part-time associates, PHOENIX is partnering with LIG Solutions to help associates obtain individual insurance coverage that best fits their needs and budget, including major medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, life Insurance and more.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Additionally, part-time associates may be eligible to receive paid sick leave, public health emergency leave and to participate in the 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with Company match. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Part-time associates are also eligible to receive an Express and Bonobos merchandise discount, participate in our Learn & Earn incentive program, and choose voluntary benefits through YouDecide.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.</em></p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>$85,100 -
