This role requires advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and network design principles, with a focus on reliability engineering and service provider operations.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Technical Leadership:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Mentor and support Tier 1 engineers on escalations and project work.</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Serve as a technical escalation point for complex troubleshooting scenarios.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Core/Transport Engineering:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Manage IPv4/IPv6 address space and maintain IPAM systems.</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Contribute to the design and deployment of core and transport network projects.</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Ensure network changes adhere to best practices for resiliency and performance.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Performance &amp; Reliability:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Participate in capacity planning, traffic engineering, and forecasting.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Cross-Team Collaboration:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Work with Infrastructure and Architecture teams on network expansion and upgrades.</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Support Sales Engineering on advanced enterprise/E-Rate service designs.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Documentation &amp; Process:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Maintain and improve network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration templates.</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Lead post-mortem reviews for incidents to drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
