Description

Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Bilingual Patient Support Specialist will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and processing records, logs, and files; scheduling appointments; and performing data entry for the Clinical Services Division. Performs complex clerical duties under regular supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Registers patients by checking them in and out in a timely and professional manner Verifies patient insurance coverage and eligibility Collects co-payments in accordance with office policies Schedules and confirms patient appointments Education/Experience:
Any combination of education and clerical experience equivalent to graduation from high school Fluent in both written and oral English and Spanish Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, SharePoint, Excel, and Publisher Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and administrative support techniques Knowledge of business English, spelling and basic arithmetic Ability to apply policies and procedures accurately Must be able to perform arithmetic calculations and prepare forms as well as statistical tables Accurate typing and date entry skills with attention to detail Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and the general public Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Our Mission
