We focus on serving neighborhoods with the greatest need, ensuring equitable access to life-enhancing programs centered on academics, health, and leadership. Our mission is to empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Licensed Preschool Coordinator plays a key role in supporting high-quality early learning experiences across multiple licensed preschool sites. Working under the Licensed Preschool Area Director, this position helps ensure curriculum excellence, program consistency, and compliance with Washington State licensing regulations. The coordinator provides hands-on support to lead teachers, assists with curriculum planning and implementation, monitors program quality, and helps maintain safe, developmentally appropriate learning environments.</p><p>In addition to supporting preschool classrooms, this role collaborates closely with stakeholders&mdash;including school district partners, internal program teams, and families&mdash;and supports K&ndash;5th&ndash;grade programs to ensure smooth transitions, aligned practices, and consistent communication across age groups.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys coaching and collaboration, and is committed to supporting young children&rsquo;s growth and development.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\"><strong>Curriculum &amp; Instructional Support</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Collaborate with the Area Director to develop, refine, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans aligned with organizational standards and Washington State Early Learning Guidelines.</li><li>Support lead teachers in lesson planning, classroom setup, and instructional strategies.</li><li>Model best practices in early childhood education through classroom observations, coaching, and feedback.</li><li>Contribute to curriculum design and ensure alignment across multiple sites.</li><li>Assist with planning and delivering professional development sessions and ongoing staff training.</li><li>Work with K&ndash;5th&ndash;grade members as needed to support aligned practices, shared expectations, and smooth transitions for children and families.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\"><strong>Quality Assurance &amp; Program Support</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Conduct regular classroom walkthroughs to assess program quality, safety, and adherence to curriculum expectations.</li><li>Provide coaching and follow-up support to ensure continuous improvement.</li><li>Help maintain consistent program practices across multiple preschool sites.</li><li>Support onboarding of new teaching staff, including orientation to curriculum, policies, and licensing expectations.</li><li>Support Early Achievers goals and quality improvement efforts.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\"><strong>Licensing &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist the Area Director in ensuring all preschool sites meet or exceed Washington State Department of Children, Youth &amp; Families (DCYF) licensing requirements.</li><li>Help maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance files.</li><li>Support preparation for licensing visits, quality assessments, and audits.</li><li>Monitor health and safety practices, including ratios, supervision, sanitation, and emergency procedures.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\"><strong>Family &amp;
