Description

Responsibilities The Occupational Therapist is a qualified, licensed professional who supervises, evaluates and provides occupational therapy services to patients in the clinic as prescribed by the attending physician and directs daily clinical operations. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in Occupational Therapy preferred. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Basic life support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. ABOUT OAKBEND: OakBend Medical Center is an independent hospital providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients and the community since 1950. The OakBend family consists of outstanding team members caring for the community at three hospitals and many specialty centers. OakBend’s services and programs include its signature No Wait ER, an advanced trauma center, certified stroke program, hospital air ambulance services and a hospital-based skilled nursing facility.
