You're a skilled developer, and you can see where things are heading. The engineers who are <em>just</em> coders — the ones whose value came from being the person who could translate a spec into working code — are the ones AI is going to eat up first. You don't want that to be you. You want to get ahead of this by going deep on the things that still matter: system architecture, software design, and a real understanding of the problems you're solving.
