SUMMARY The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, components, and services to support production in a fast-paced injection molding environment. This role ensures material availability aligns with production schedules while optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance using the IQMS ERP/MRP system. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and execute purchasing activities based on MRP signals within IQMS Procure raw materials (resins, colorants, additives), packaging, and indirect supplies Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet production demands Review and act on system-generated purchase suggestions and reorder points Maintain accurate purchase orders, pricing, and supplier data in IQMS Communicate with production, scheduling, and engineering teams to align supply with demand Track and expedite orders to prevent shortages or production downtime Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing Analyze purchasing data to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements Support new product launches with material sourcing and supplier qualification Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company and industry standards Remote Position No Min Compensation USD $65,000.00/Yr. Max Compensation USD $80,000.00/Yr.
