In this role, you will coordinate proposal responses, partner with cross-functional teams to develop and submit bids, evaluate contract requirements, and support contract negotiations and customer-facing contract activities for the United States and Canada transportation market.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</b></p><ul><li>Analyze bid solicitations and contract opportunities for the Roadway Materials portfolio.</li><li>Lead the coordination of bid responses across cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, lab, finance, and manufacturing.</li><li>Plan and lead contract negotiations and document outcomes to reduce risk and improve financial results.</li><li>Negotiate contract changes and renewals when terms require resolution or clarification.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for customer contract matters.</li><li>Develop strong customer relationships to support follow-up opportunities and business growth</li><li>Participate in, and at times lead, cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve processes.</li><li>Ensure complete and accurate contract documentation in designated systems.</li><li>Prioritize contract requests in coordination with the Regional Product Manager</li><li>Your skills and Expertise</li><li>Possess a bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum of one (1) year of combined experience in contract administration, customer projects, sales and/or customer service is required</li><li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience in project management</li><li>Fluent in English with strong speaking, writing and comprehension skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</b></p><ul><li>Strong communication skills including active listening, written communication and oral communication</li><li>Experience in contract management</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills</li><li>Ability to work in a high volume, rapidly changing environment</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency coordinating tasks</li><li>Demonstrated detailed orientation and working with projects</li><li>Collaborative Team player, analytical and proactive</li><li>Negotiation skills</li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Safety is a core value at 3M.
