    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;On the Job Training provided!&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures equipment is operating properly by performing preventative maintenance, repairs and upgrades to provide minimal equipment downtime or loss of production</li>\n <li>Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks on schedule according to performance standards</li>\n <li>Understands project requirements and works to complete task with a high level of quality and workmanship in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Maintains coating system operation components to a high level of performance with minimal or no downtime</li>\n <li>Regularly and effectively communicates activities and projects to supervisor</li>\n <li>Assists in the development and upgrade of process equipment</li>\n <li>Stays abreast of new methods and procedures learning new skills as needed and makes recommendations to improve processes and/or equipment</li>\n <li>Monitors equipment operations to maintain proper operation levels of performance. Repairs and replaces as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>All electrical equipment and controls work appropriately with minimal downtime</li>\n <li>All related maintenance and/or repairs are documented in the proper logs and spreadsheets</li>\n <li>Develop necessary skills to repair compressors, cryo pumps, e-beam guns and other specialized coating equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates or technical degree in a mechanical field preferred or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>3-5 years of experience in a maintenance position</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Skills</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to understand and operate all coating equipment</li>\n <li>Must work well with all operators, supervisors and engineers to support customer needs</li>\n <li>Listens and responds to issues and concerns presented by the department</li>\n <li>Skilled in all mechanical applications including electric, plumbing, welding/sottering, metal working, mechanical tools, test instruments and general repairs&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proficient use of MS office programs</li>\n <li>Strong “hands on” mechanical abilities</li>\n <li>Must communicate with various operators, vendors, suppliers, and engineers</li>\n <li>Requires flexibility in work schedule including extended hours, weekends, holidays and cell phone coverage as necessary to support a 24/7 operation</li>\n <li>Good understanding of high vacuum practices&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires high concentration levels with high attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Working Conditions</u></b></p>\n<p>Generally, in a clean room environment</p>\n<p>Works with small to large equipment, high voltage and exposure to low level radioactive materials and other hazardous chemicals</p>\n<p><b><u>Physical Requirements</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to wear a full-face respirator.
