You will help ensure performance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide array of electronic systems supporting the U.S. Navy's <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Landing Craft, Air Cushion Ship-to-Shore Connector (LCAC SSC)</span> and legacy LCAC Weapon Systems fleet at NSWC <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Panama City, FL</span>.  This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with mission-critical aviation related technology in dynamic environments, supporting the readiness and operational capability of aviation assets.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This work supports the U.S. Navy Landing Craft and Air Cushion Connector Ship-to-Shore (LCAC SSC) Legacy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) as part of a depot repair, refurbishment, craft operation and maintenance team.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma and experience assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting</li>\n<li>Experience in using a variety of hand tools such as digital multi-meters and signal generators</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience working with components and wiring circuits</li>\n<li>Proficiency in interpreting electronic schematics and technical documentation</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Avionics, or related field</li>\n<li>Formal military electrical / electronics training or certification (e.g., Navy/USAF avionics school)</li>\n<li>Experience with rotary- or fixed-wing aircraft systems</li>\n<li>Familiarity with military standards for aircraft systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clearance Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance or ability to get an Interim Secret before starting</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights as required</li>\n<li>Frequently lifts, moves, or carries up to 50 pounds</li>\n<li>Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling during inspections and repairs</li>\n<li>Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in operational settings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assemble and install equipment requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting electrical components while following detailed procedures to include replacement of components and wiring circuits</li>\n<li>Repair simple electrical/electronic equipment</li>\n<li>Take test readings using common precision measuring instruments (digital multi-meters and/or signal generators)</li>\n<li>Inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining electronic components and systems within aviation related equipment</li>\n<li>Reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics</li>\n<li>Documenting maintenance and repair actions in accordance with standard procedures</li>\n<li>Conducting performance checks and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards</li>\n<li>Utilizing specialized testing equipment and software tools</li>\n<li>Adhering to all safety protocols and operational regulations</li>\n</ul>",
