    "description": "<p>As a Medical Simulation Operator, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulation equipment while facilitating realistic training scenarios. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving medical readiness and battlefield trauma response. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Timeframe: This position is temporary while an existing Simulation Operator is deployed. Rough timeline for employment is May 2026 – July 2026. Exact timeline will be provided .  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position is initially a 3-month assignment, with strong potential to transition into a full-time role as other positions become available.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br>•    Operate and maintain medical simulation equipment, including human patient simulators, task trainers, and virtual reality systems.<br>•    Facilitate training scenarios and after-action reviews (AARs) to enhance learning outcomes.<br>•    Train instructors and simulation staff on equipment use and scenario execution.<br>•    Maintain and troubleshooting equipment at various simulation sites.<br>•    Collect feedback and update training scenarios as needed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Education: <br>•    Associate degree or higher in Healthcare, Education, or a related technical field.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Relevant Military Occupational Specialties (MOS):<br>•    Army: 68W (Combat Medic), 18D (Special Operations Medical Sergeant)<br>•    Navy: HM (Hospital Corpsman)<br>•    Air Force: 4N0X1 (Aerospace Medical Service)<br>•    Marine Corps: HM assigned to Marine units<br>•    Coast Guard: HS (Health Services Technician)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Technical &amp; Instructional Experience:<br>•    3+ years as a simulation technician/trainer (healthcare simulation experience preferred).<br>•    Prior service as a U.S. Armed Forces medic strongly preferred.<br>•    Proficiency in simulation technologies (human patient simulators, task trainers, VR systems).<br>•    Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex simulation equipment.<br>•    Experience leading train-the-trainer programs and providing constructive feedback.</p>\n<p>Adaptability &amp; Travel:<br>•    Work at designated simulation site with travel as necessary.<br>•    Prior deployment experience (Iraq, Afghanistan, or similar) is a plus.</p>\n<p>Ideal Candidate:<br>•    Prior military medic with combat or deployment experience.<br>•    Technically skilled in simulation equipment &amp; training facilitation.<br>•    Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>About Alakaʻi Services Group Inc. / Poʻe Hana Group, Inc.</p>\n<p>Alaka‘i Services Group Inc.
