Our mission is to deliver the highest quality professional services while prioritizing our employees’ well-being and fostering an exceptional workplace environment. </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> <strong>What You Will Do</strong> </p>\n<p>As a Senior Instrumentation and Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for the electrical design, layout, and drafting of industrial facilities, primarily Semiconductor. The senior designer will take client/project requirements, direction from engineer, national and customer standards and produce designs that meet those requirements, as well as direct and mentor other designers. </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>A Typical Day at Prime Controls</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs client contact duties when required by the project engineer, project manager, or account manager (PM/AM). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates with project engineer, PM/AM, and other disciplined engineers. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs site investigations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for specification adherence. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Cost estimating to assist the project engineer. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs wire and conduit sizing calculations, voltage drop calculations, and conduit fill calculations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for designing:  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>BIM Construction Coordination</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Electrical one-lines, and schematics </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Instrument Locations / Placement / Process Tubing Connections</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Panel Locations</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduit Plans</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Cable tray plans </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Heat Trace plans </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Area classification drawings based on P&IDs, piping and plot plans </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Instrument layout plans </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Bring</strong> </p>\n<p><strong><em>The Basic</em></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>4 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical design </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent experience in I & E Design </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong experience with AutoCAD including </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Using blocks </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Using XREFs </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing templates </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Import and Export of data and drawings </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>3D Cable tray design experience, preferably in Revit. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Grounding and lightning protection design in accordance with NEC article 250 and NFPA 780 </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Willingness to learn and use grounding and lightning protection design software </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with SKM is desired.  Especially exporting to AutoCAD. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with AGI32 is desired.
