Hours are typically between 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (5 hours) per day.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and deliver a curriculum that addresses course objectives</li><li>Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities</li><li>Provide feedback to students that will enhance their academic growth</li><li>Monitor and report student attendance</li><li>Refer to the coordinator those students not making adequate progress</li><li>Attend faculty meetings to evaluate student progress and determine improvement strategies for students</li><li>Complete summative evaluations highlighting students’ strengths and needs</li><li>Submit curriculum evaluation to improve program services.</li></ul><p>Upward Bound provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their pre-college performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree.</p>",
