POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Inventory Clerk reports to the Maintenance Manager and is based out of our Springdale, Arkansas location. This role ensures that the inventory is properly organized, tracked and available when needed to support efficient maintenance activities. The position works closely with maintenance staff, vendors, and other plant departments to maintain accurate records and facilitate smooth operations. Primary Responsibilities include : Coordinates the daily operations of the company maintenance stockroom, which provides a wide variety of equipment parts utilized by company team members. Organization is a key factor in this position. Request quotes, verify pricing and maintain inventory accuracy of part order request. Process and issue purchase order to vendors. Generate purchase order requisitions or orders for approval to restock, verification, and entry of invoices. Coordinates with contract service scheduled repairs and signs off on service repairs with forklift provider as assigned by work order request. Generate purchase ordered and monitor deliveries of plants variable items, including but not limited to chemical, glues, and stretch wrap. Communicate with new vendors to obtain quotes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality standards. Invoice receiving to include receiving, sorting and logging all incoming invoices electronically for the company. Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial records, ensuring audit readiness. Perform verification by matching purchase order and vendor invoice to ensure quantity and pricing accuracy. Regularly review vendor statements and checkbooks against missing invoices, overpayments, or credit memos. Managed the end-to-end documentation for vendor set-up and payment changes, partnering with Corporate AP to ensure accurate disbursements. Assist in evaluating vendor performance, maintaining contractor register and updating electronic records to ensure contractor requirements. Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Monitors and issues confined space, or hot work permits to contractor as required. Perform monthly inventory count of maintenance chemical supplies and update database inventory. Performs assigned facility/equipment safety inspection as assigned per work order system. Ensure adequate inventory levels of stock parts and help identify and prioritize immediate equipment repairs vs stock parts. Assist in updating CMMS eMaint inventory and distribute parts to work orders. Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments of maintenance supplies and parts. Manage stock level of parts review maintenance stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items. Maintain daily organization and cleanliness of parts/inventory s room. Pick up and delivery of parts as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum Required Qualifications A high school diploma or GED Valid Driver license 1-2 years of inventory experience Basic computer skills – using MS Outlook Mail, and MS Word and Excel Ability to work independently with limited supervision, working in a team environment. Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience in the food/beverage industry Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Must successfully complete and pass forklift safety training Previous inventory control experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting. FREQUENT: Ability to talk and hear; ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend and/or crouch; push/pull; lift up to 50 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in area of responsibility. Exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature (seasonal). OCCASIONAL: Squatting, kneeling, ability to reach above and at shoulder height. Ability to wear a dust mask, and perform Confined Entry using LOTO program. Exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals. VISION: Ability to use close and distance vision, as well as color and peripheral vision with or without correction. Must be able to visually detect obstacles and potential dangers in a fast paced production environment involving high speed equipment and powered industrial lift equipment. HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Exposure to noise levels from pumps, machinery, forklift traffic, bottle lines and exhaust fans.
