    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Senior Electrical Project Engineer leads the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical power and control systems. This role serves as a technical authority for electrical system architecture, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, budget constraints, and project schedules while supporting high-value engineering projects.</p><p><strong>Detailed Description</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design and development of electrical power and control systems including switchgear, drives, MCCs, control panels, and substations</li><li>Perform advanced electrical engineering analyses such as load flow, short circuit, and system coordination studies</li><li>Serve as technical lead for electrical system architecture, equipment selection, and design decisions</li><li>Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable codes, standards (NEC, IEEE, etc.), and customer specifications</li><li>Develop detailed engineering deliverables including schematics, single-line diagrams, bills of material, and testing documentation</li><li>Review and validate electrical equipment selections for performance, compatibility, and application suitability</li><li>Collaborate with Project Engineers, Procurement, and Operations to ensure technical alignment from design through execution</li><li>Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers</li><li>Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), commissioning activities, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems</li><li>Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules with accountability for engineering deliverables</li><li>Support cross-functional teams with technical input and documentation</li><li>Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment aligned with company culture</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong expertise in electrical power system design and equipment integration</li><li>Advanced understanding of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and electrical engineering analysis tools</li><li>Ability to develop, read, and interpret complex electrical schematics and system designs</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field</li><li>Minimum of five years of hands-on electrical power system design experience</li><li>Demonstrated experience with switchgear, MCCs, drives, and control systems</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Certifications</strong></p><ul><li>Seven or more years of experience in electrical system design and project execution</li><li>Experience designing integrated electrical systems for industrial, drilling, or energy applications</li><li>Proven experience acting as a technical lead or subject matter expert on complex projects</li><li>Experience with vendor coordination and electrical package specification</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Details</strong></p><p>This position is primarily office-based with occasional visits to shop or fabrication areas. The role involves regular sitting, standing, and computer use.
