    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Gibbon Packing, LLC,</strong> an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a <strong>Maintenance Mechanic </strong>at our Gibbon, NE plant. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As<strong> Maintenance Mechanic</strong>, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Predictive maintenance; vibration analysis to predict failure.</li>\n <li>Preventive maintenance; lubrication and inspection at specified time intervals.</li>\n <li>Repair maintenance; repair after equipment failure.</li>\n <li>Ensure all safety and lock-out-tag-out procedures are followed, if applicable.</li>\n <li>Maintain logs and required paperwork.</li>\n <li>Maintain, disassemble, reassemble, repair, test, and inspect production equipment.</li>\n <li>NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (Required):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.</li>\n <li><p>Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). </p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. </p></li>\n <li>Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs.</li>\n <li><p>Must be able to successfully complete training: </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Safety. </p></li>\n   <li><p>Safe Quality Food (SQF). </p></li>\n   <li><p>Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).  </p></li>\n   <li><p>Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). </p></li>\n   <li><p>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). </p></li>\n   <li><p>Food defense. </p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior maintenance experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork or poultry facility.</li>\n <li>Prior production experience.</li>\n <li>Work history in the last 12 months.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer.</strong> All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
