    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Job Description:</p>\n<p>Operates Computed Tomography (CT) equipment, prepares for examination, and ensures proper information is obtained for Physician to make a diagnosis.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility:</p>\n<p>1.Administers routine/emergency CT procedures and special procedures.<br>\n  2.Produces high quality images with minimum stress and exposure to patient, by dealing tactfully and cooperatively with patients and general public.<br>\n  3.Provides information and explanation to patient in regard to examination.<br>\n  4.Checks patient identification in order to ensure proper administration of CT scans.<br>\n  5.Processes, develops and reformates images as required. Networks images to PACS.<br>\n  6.Performs clerical and technical duties including, but not limited to, maintaining logs, posting charges, and computer data entry.<br>\n  7.Assists in the orientation and training of new Technologists.<br>\n  8.Performs related duties, as required.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Job Qualification:</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, required.</li>\n <li>New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.</li>\n <li>Certification in IV Contrast Administration, required.</li>\n <li>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (RT), required.</li>\n <li>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT), required within eighteen (18) months of entry date into position.</li>\n <li>Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, required.</li>\n <li>Minimum of six (6) months Radiology Technologist experience, &nbsp;required.
