As a leader, you will lead complex projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in accordance with DoD and ARL IT policies at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD. &#xa0;</p><p>Join a team of dedicated professionals at an industry-leading organization, where you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that contribute to national security.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the configuration and troubleshooting of Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, wireless access points, and associated networking gear.</li><li>Oversee network control center operations to ensure 24/7 availability and proactive incident management.</li><li>Design, install, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN/MAN infrastructures, including IPV4/IPV6, IPSec VPN, and voice/video systems.</li><li>Guide network modernization efforts, new technology integration, and network architecture strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to develop compliant, secure, and scalable network solutions aligned with INFOSEC and COMSEC requirements.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, ensuring effective integration with existing systems.</li><li>Deliver comprehensive documentation for designs, configurations, and system operations.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level network engineers, promoting a high-performing and collaborative team culture.</li><li>Translate business and mission requirements into technical networking solutions and support documentation.</li><li>Participate in security audits, STIG compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation processes related to network assets.</li></ul><p><em>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.&#xa0;</em></p>",

          "text": "<ul><li>U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Top Secret&#xa0;Clearance</li><li>Must have a BA/BS Degree in computer science, information technology, or logistics.</li><li>Ten (10+) years of relevant experience working in IT enterprise network engineering.</li><li>IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per&#xa0;DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security,&#xa0;GICSP,&#xa0;GSEC, SSCP, etc.).</li><li>Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks.</li><li>Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems.</li><li>Experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices.</li><li>Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime.</li><li>Must obtain a computing environment certification within 6 months of hire.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification</li><li>Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.</li><li>CCIE certification.</li><li>Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls.</li><li>Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems.</li><li>Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.</li><li>Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.</li><li>A problem solver and troubleshooter&#xa0;who thrives in resolving&#xa0;complex problems.</li><li>Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary Range:&#xa0;</strong>$79,000 - $133,000</p><p>Several factors influence the final salary or hourly rate, including but not limited to contract wage determinations, relevant work experience, role-specific skills and competencies, geographic location, educational background, certifications, and federal government contract labor categories.</p>",
