          "text": "<p>The Automatic Press Operator is responsible for setting up and/or operating automatically fed machinery in support of production strategies and goals to&#xa0;maximize the profits to the company by improving efficiencies. It actively seeks opportunities for improvement to ensure maximum company performance. It works with other team members to create and maintain a safe, organized working environment/culture that meets/exceeds MAT HD—Rome facility standards and customer expectations.</p><p><strong>Principle Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operates equipment in the most efficient manner possible, constantly seeking new improvements to increase production and quality levels.</li><li>Troubleshoots equipment when any errors occur to find the cause of the problem and to seek ways to prevent the error from reoccurring. Performs routine daily maintenance.</li><li>Proactively monitors production to ensure quality levels remain at the highest possible.</li><li>Performs all quality inspections of parts during production and immediately seeks to correct any issues found.&#xa0;</li><li>Performs all setup and changeover processes in the most efficient manner possible.</li><li>Proactively makes adjustments to feeds to assure highest quality part production at minimal scrap level</li><li>Continuously seeks new production methods to increase efficiencies, safety, and quality while reducing costs.</li><li>Constantly assures that all equipment used in production are operating in the safest manner possible.</li><li>Keep the equipment and work area as orderly and clean as possible to aid future production; ensures that the work area is spotless and ready for the next operator at the end of the shift.&#xa0;</li><li>Additional duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Lead.</li></ul>",
