A bartender will consistently display a friendly demeanor, while providing anticipatory guest service in a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal role, compensated at $8.75/hr &#43; tips.</span></p><p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</b></p><ul><li>To understand and practice the serving of alcoholic beverages in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws</li><li>Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures; maintain facility cleanliness and organization of workstations</li><li>Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or situations needing immediate attention</li><li>Set-up bar: stock beer, wine, glassware etc. as needed</li><li>Promote and sell products</li><li>Adhere to sound cash-management procedures</li><li>Attend all shift and training meetings</li><li>Daily cash-outs and deposits, as assigned</li><li>Additional duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li>1-year bartending experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment preferred</li><li>Possesses a proficient knowledge of liquor quality and preparation of alcoholic beverages</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Certified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws</li><li>Must be organized, be able to multitask and be able to make quick independent decisions</li><li>Ability to remain calm during stressful situations and adapt well to many different situations and changes</li></ul><p><br /><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS </b></p><p>This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.</p><p></p><p><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.  </span></p><p></p><p><b><span><span><span>An Equal Opportunity Employer</span></span></span></b></p>",
