While there is no physical office requirement for this role, you must be based in Tokyo to be eligible for this position.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(150, 14, 119); font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">🤩 What you'll do</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">As our Production Specialist serves as Toon Boom’s technical and creative ambassador in Japan — bridging studios, education, and government programs. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Solutions teams to design and implement production workflows that demonstrate Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro’s value. You will report directly to our Director of Sales - Japan.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will design and execute POCs with studios, integrating Toon Boom tools into Japanese pipelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will develop localized demo assets and documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will provide on-site support during pilot and production phases.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will serve as the technical reference at events and workshops, such as the Japan Production Summit.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will train educators and align school curricula with industry workflows.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will collaborate with sales on client solutions, renewals, and demo delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will liaise with education programs.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(150, 14, 119); font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">🎯 What you'll need</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You have</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\"> 5+ years of experience in 2D animation production with Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You possess native </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Japanese fluency </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">and </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Business English proficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You maintain </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">a strong understanding of cut-out / rig-based animation workflow</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">s (Western workflows).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You demonstrate excellent presentation and cross-cultural communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You bring preferred experience as a Production Coordinator, Technical Director, or Rigging Lead.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You hold deep knowledge of Japanese studio practices and anime production styles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You consider experience mentoring or teaching digital animation to be a significant plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You are collaborative, self-motivated, and culturally fluent.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You are a problem solver who thrives in hybrid creative-technical roles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You are passionate about modernizing Japan’s animation workflows.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(150, 14, 119); font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">🤩 What we offer</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">At Toon Boom, we prioritize work-life balance and comprehensive benefits for our team.
