With a strong foundation, and enterprising spirit and a commitment to absolute integrity, East West Bank gives people the confidence to reach further.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Portfolio Analyst, this position will be responsible for the administrative and operational tasks to maintain the daily operations of the SBA Lending Team in accordance with East West Bank and US SBA policies and procedures.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform due diligence searches (CAIVRS, SAM, OFAC, Experian, UCC, Flood, etc.), tax transcript orders, Smart Fee Tracker for good faith deposit.</li>\n <li>Submit Experian, Veri-Tax and Tax Guard invoices to AP Department for remittance requests promptly.</li>\n <li>Prepare and submit required weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for SBA Team.</li>\n <li>Assist in providing support to the SBA team by ensuring that tickler items, delinquent property taxes, insurance policies, and other related matters are in compliance with the loan requirements.</li>\n <li>Assist to coordinate the PPP forgiveness review process between US SBA and Retail Branches/Business Units.</li>\n <li>Help with the analysis of financial information to back up specific loan requests and/or risk ratings.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of SBA Operations procedures and process documentation to improve efficiency and compliance.</li>\n <li>Provide support for quality assurance reviews, audits, and special projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries and refer to the right person.</li>\n <li>Monitor inventory levels of office supplies for the SBA Lending Team and manage timely procurement to maintain operational continuity.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of commercial banking experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field required.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of SBA SOP 50 10 (Loan Origination) and SOP 50 57 (Servicing and Liquidation) preferred.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of commercial and consumer lending processes and procedures within a financial institution.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment; proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
