    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><strong>Maintenance Technician</strong></div><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:10.1pt;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary (major areas of contribution):</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:10.1pt;\">Responsible for the repair and maintenance of various equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility, including troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections, performing repairs and carrying out preventive maintenance tasks.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:10.1pt;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 36.1px;\"><li>Must understand and follow all safety requirements for operating equipment</li><li>Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, as required, on shop equipment, and the facilities if needed, with minimal supervision</li><li>Design and trouble shoot PLC program logic for machine control functions</li><li>Fabricate and/or repair electrical/ electronic equipment from drawings</li><li>Support Lean Initiatives through 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, ACP&rsquo;s, etc.</li><li>Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair the fabrication equipment</li><li>Perform any duties assigned to keep production rate and meet production schedule</li><li>Ensure timely and effective communication and coordination with all other departments within the company and its divisions</li><li>Must be willing to cross-train other employees</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications / Skills:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 36.1px;\"><li>High school or equivalent required; AS degree or advanced technical training/certifications required</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and drawings required</li><li>Knowledge of:&nbsp;</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Electrical systems required</li><li>Electronic troubleshooting required</li><li>Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) required</li><li>Mechanical repairs required</li><li>Millwright</li><li>CNC machine repair required</li><li>Hydraulic systems required</li><li>Pneumatic systems required</li><li>Welding plus</li><li>Test equipment plus</li><li>Bench tools</li></ul></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 36.1px;\"><li>Possess and demonstrate independent motivation to accomplish assigned tasks</li><li>Goal-oriented team player</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>Must be able to work overtime as needed (potentially some weekends, off-shifts, holidays, etc.)</li><li>PC experience required such that basic level of skill can be demonstrated in Microsoft Word and Excel&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience working with Advanced Maintenance Management System &ldquo;AMMS&rdquo; preferred not required</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:28.1pt;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>&nbsp;While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequent required to stand; walk; sit; bend; kneel; stoop;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;crouch; crawl; use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.</p><p>&nbsp;The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds</p></div></div>\n<br/>This is as second shift position.
