Position Overview This role will integrate directly into an active NASA project. You will contribute to initiatives spanning Air Traffic Management, Advanced Technology Systems, AI, LLM, Quantum Computing, Nanoelectronics and Devices, or Advanced Software. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to impact technical disciplines including all forms of engineering, computer science, computer engineering, and human-computer interaction. For more information about our research areas, visit: https://nams-2-crown.com/research-areas/ Key Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis on assigned projects within your technical discipline Validate findings and document results with attention to detail Identify emerging industry trends relevant to aerospace and aviation technology Create designs and technical solutions for practical applications Write and develop code for software applications in aviation and air traffic management Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or pursuing a college degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field Minimum 2.5 GPA Demonstrated work history showing reliability and commitment (STEM-related experience preferred but not required) Preferred Qualifications: Experience or coursework in aerospace, aviation, software development, or advanced technology systems Familiarity with AI, quantum computing, or emerging technologies Strong technical writing and documentation skills Application Essay Requirement: Submit a one-page essay addressing the following: Describe a personal challenge you've overcome and what it taught you. Additionally, share what excites you about innovation in aerospace and why you're interested in contributing to NASA's mission. We're looking for candidates whose passion and resilience extend beyond academic metrics—tell us the story your resume cannot. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and consistent, even if not every job title in your history relates to STEM. Compensation Undergraduate - $730/week → approx.  $18.25/hour Crown complies with all applicable state and local pay transparency laws. The listed compensation range represents the good faith salary range for this position at the time of posting.
