    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Are you interested in working for a human services agency where the sky is the limit for growth potential?</em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>Do you enjoy working with children in need and making a difference in their lives?</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>If you answered YES to either of these questions, then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team!</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $20.50-$23.87 per hour, depending on education and experience.</p>\n<p>This position is located in Webster, MA.</p>\n<p><strong>$1000 sign-on for full-time</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Additional $250 bonus if MAP Certified </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Devereux  - Massachusetts</strong> serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Devereux's Webster House program serves co-ed youth, ages 4 to 14, on a rapid reintegration care program. With a 1:3 staff to student ratio, the main focus at this program is to identify and treat safety/risk factors, barrier behaviors, and factors that precipitated placement; and facilitate reintegration of the youth to the family or next appropriate placement in the shortest time period possible.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a Direct Support/Care Professional, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be passionate about working with and helping youth.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision. </li>\n <li>Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment. </li>\n <li>Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same. </li>\n <li>Teach and assist with Activities of Daily (ADL) Living Skills.</li>\n <li>Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Being a Direct Care Professional at Devereux has its advantages!</strong></p>\n<p>You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders <strong>preferred</strong>.</li>\n <li><strong>Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must be MAP certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
