This role ensures the timely and accurate delivery and pickup of linen supplies to all designated Memorial Health departments and units, supporting smooth daily operations and maintaining high service standards.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>High school diploma or equivalent <strong>preferred</strong>.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Valid Illinois driver’s license <strong>preferred</strong>.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience in healthcare support services, hospital or commercial laundry, hospitality, or a related field <strong>preferred</strong>.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Demonstrated ability to effectively use computers and/or mobile devices to perform daily job activities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Capable of moderate to heavy physical effort, including lifting up to <strong>50 lbs.</strong> and pushing or pulling carts weighing up to <strong>400 lbs.</strong>, often in a hot, humid work environment.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Clean Linen Distribution:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Move clean linen stock throughout the facility using linen carts and various linen containers in support of the linen distribution plan.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Transport loaded linen carts/containers from the receiving dock to the staging area.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Deliver loaded linen carts/containers to designated areas for use.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Return partially used linen carts/containers to the staging area.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Move partial linen carts/containers to the loading dock for shipment.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Soiled Linen Handling:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Transport soiled linen throughout the facility using linen carts and containers per the linen distribution plan.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Pick up and move soiled linen carts/containers from soiled linen chute rooms to the holding area or loading dock for shipment.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Pick up and move soiled linen carts/containers from designated soiled rooms to the holding area or loading dock for shipment.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Infection Prevention:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Follow all infection prevention practices, including proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, hand hygiene, standard and isolation precautions, and correct donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Adhere to all organizational safety, risk management, and infection control guidelines while promoting a culture of safety.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Laundry Equipment Operation:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment as required.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Independent Work and Responsiveness:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.</p></li>\n   <li><p>Respond promptly to all pages and calls regarding linen while maintaining required documentation.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p><strong>Specialty Tasks:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Perform additional facility-specific tasks as needed, such as building clean linen carts, loading/unloading linen trucks, and other related duties.</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
