This position is responsible for the safe maintenance of facility electrical systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What's In It for You?</strong>💸Full-Time, Hourly overtime eligible position and you get paid weekly!🤝🏽This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement🩺Benefit options include, but are not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident Insurance, and Group Auto and Home📈Retirement Benefits Include: 401k, Roth 401k, Stock Purchase Program, and Stock Options💰Company Paid Life Insurance and AD&D is covered at 100%🎫Exclusive employee perks including a pass to all Six Flags Parks, employee parties/events, and regional attraction admission</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Inspect facility electrical systems and notifying management of any and all hazards that may endanger guests or employees</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform the inspection and maintenance programs in accordance with the standards set by Six Flags and the State of Georgia.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot various electrical systems and appliances.</p></li>\n <li><p>Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as circuit breakers, lighting controls, light fixtures, power distribution systems, receptacles, commercial kitchen equipment, etc.</p></li>\n <li><p>Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electrical components such as receptacles, light fixtures, wiring, breaker panels, relays, etc.</p></li>\n <li><p>Observes operation of installed equipment/systems to detect hazards, malfunctions, need for adjustment or replacement.</p></li>\n <li><p>Install temporary and/or permanent power systems for park projects, events/festivals, and equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Remove and /or replace worn or defective parts using hand or power tools</p></li>\n <li><p>Test equipment using various instruments such as multi-meters, meggers, etc.</p></li>\n <li><p>Read and interpret drawings, manuals and schematics as provided</p></li>\n <li><p>Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond to work orders and conduct electrical repairs as required to maintain safe park operation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Adhere to park policies and procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Other duties as assigned</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay Range: $30.24 - $40.32</strong> per hour (depending on level of experience). Work in excess of 40 hours per week is paid at 1.5x standard pay rate</p>\n<p><strong>Other Functions: </strong>All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.  While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong knowledge of the maintenance and installation of electrical systems/equipment</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong experience in troubleshooting equipment and replacing faulty components</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with commercial kitchen appliances</p></li>\n <li><p>State Journeyman’s license preferred but not required</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to meet deadlines</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to professionally interact with other shops and various departments.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers and park management.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to write, speak and comprehend English.</p></li>\n <li><p>Able to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, and working at heights up to 200 ft.</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work outside in any weather conditions, nights, weekends and holidays.</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid Drivers’ License and clean DMV report.</p><p>Employees are required to supply their own hand tools.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
