Opportunities for growth and advancement.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>▪ Prepare joist and deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD▪ Prepare RFI’s and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers, and others.▪ Calculate joist and girder loading based on design loading provided on contract documents.▪ Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, accurate and production driven environment.▪ Meet schedules for assigned projects.▪ Other duties as necessary by being a team player</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good computer, verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Fluent with AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings.</li>\n <li>Willingness to go beyond to assist co-workers and customers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>CAD related degrees and/or experience</li>\n <li>Able to decipher contract documents and specifications.</li>\n <li>Prior structural and/or joist detailing experience</li>\n <li>BIM/Tekla experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
