    "description": "<p>Citadel Drilling is looking to add experienced Canadian Floorhand Technicians to our team! The successful candidate will fly in and out from Calgary, Alberta to Midland, Texas on a chartered flight direct. Citadel will cover costs and assist the successful candidates through the Work Visa process and will cover flight and hotel accommodations. Citadel offers Texas Style Camps, with single room accommodations provided on location, and with daily per diem. PPE is provided, which includes coveralls, hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves.<br><br>Candidates must hold a valid Canadian passport.<br><br>Position Summary:<br>Citadel is currently performing drilling operations in the Permian basin and is looking to add qualified Experienced Floorhands to our team. The Floorhand position reports to the Driller and is an integral member of the rig crew. Primary responsibilities include, making/breaking drill pipe connections, tripping, running casing, and assisting with cementing operations. Other duties include servicing rig components and equipment, including the draw works, top drive, auto-wrench, and hydraulic pipe handling system. Rig crews work a 20/10 rotation.<br><br>Specific Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tripping pipe and making connections;</li>\n<li>Ensure that the drill floor is clean and orderly at all times;</li>\n<li>Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment;</li>\n<li>Inspect tongs for wear, ensure they are in proper working order;</li>\n<li>Inspect pipe spinner, ensure it is in proper working order;</li>\n<li>Inspect rotary table;</li>\n<li>Assist Derrickhand in mixing mud and chemicals;</li>\n<li>Assist in maintenance and repair of machinery;</li>\n<li>Handling of tubular goods - inspection and measurement;</li>\n<li>Assist in drill line slip-and-cut program;</li>\n<li>Assist in moving the rig, rigging up and rigging out;</li>\n<li>Clean up and proper storage/placement of tools;</li>\n<li>General upkeep of the rig, including painting and cleaning as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate safety leadership through the application of safe work practices;</li>\n<li>Comply with Citadel’s QHSE safety standards as outlined in Citadel’s QHSE manual;</li>\n<li>Active participation in weekly safety meetings, rig inspections, and hazard I.D. programs;</li>\n<li>Report all incidents and learning opportunities (near misses) to the Driller or Rig Manager;</li>\n<li>Ensure the performance of duties reflects and supports Citadel’s PAC²T values;</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications and Abilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of one (1) year experience working on an AC Triple drilling rig;</li>\n<li>Possess a strong mechanical aptitude;</li>\n<li>Excellent communicator with demonstrated experience working effectively in a team setting;</li>\n<li>Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment;</li>\n<li>Work outdoors and in various weather conditions;</li>\n<li>Able to meet drug and alcohol test requirements and fitness to work;</li>\n<li>Possess a valid H2S certificate and obtain other required certifications;</li>\n<li>References required.</li>\n</ul>",
