    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Children&rsquo;s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children&rsquo;s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Clinical Registered Nurse provides oversight of all clinical operations to ensure delivery of effective patient care and efficient operational management.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor of Science, Associates Degree, or Diploma in Nursing required from a state accredited RN program.&nbsp;</li><li>1 - 3 years of experience in a clinical setting or equivalent education, training, and experience in pediatrics.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in pediatric cardiology preferred.</li><li>Current Georgia Registered Nurse license required.&nbsp;</li><li>Current CPR certification required.</li><li>Must possess general nursing knowledge as well as critical thinking, judgment and assessment skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven strong oral and written communication skills required.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have general proficiency in computer skills. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Obtain general assessments and histories of patients.&nbsp;</li><li>Obtain vital signs and EKG&rsquo;s; validate Medical Assistant&rsquo;s work-up. &nbsp;</li><li>Review patient information and discuss findings with physician, including any unusual or problematic conditions.&nbsp;</li><li>Review pre-clinic chart for permanent clinics and outreach clinics as appropriate.&nbsp;</li><li>Educate patients and families about Holter and Event monitor placement and provide follow-up.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide medication education to patients and patient families; including administration, actions, reactions and discharge teaching.</li><li>Preparation and follow-up of tests and procedures including labs, cardiac<strong>&nbsp;</strong>caths, MRI&rsquo;s and other. &nbsp;</li><li>Oversee clinic set up and monthly inventory.</li><li>Manage clinical equipment by trouble shooting issues and ensuring maintenance as needed.</li><li>Position may include phone triage in clinical setting as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Travel to other clinics for coverage as operationally necessary.</li><li>Perform other duties and projects as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status or any protected category.</strong></p><p>As a part of the recruiting and new hire process with Children&rsquo;s Cardiology, employment history will be verified and ANY false statements, omissions or misrepresentations of your application or resume will result in not being hired by the company.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
