We work with a wide range of communities, groups and populations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a psychotherapist with a proven track record of working with patients struggling with PTSD and PTSD-related issues or Obessive Compulsion Related Disorders. We encourage applications from therapists who are passionate about providing inclusive and culturally competent mental health services. Candidates with formal training in the Trauma or OCD are preferred. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We pride ourselves in not just on a creating safe and prosperous space for our clients, but for our staff as well. The position is a remote position. All Candidates must have a private and confidential area for remote video therapy. We offer $500 per year to eligible clinicians to go toward trainings of their choice!</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide intake assessments and administer psychotherapy to individuals and couples(if desired).</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with insurance and practice expectations.</li>\n <li>Schedule appointments with patients.</li>\n <li>Participate in weekly team meetings.</li>\n <li>Perform a variety of other job-related responsibilities as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active NYS LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP license.</li>\n <li>Proven success utilzing intervention, not limited to DBT, ACT and/or CBT. </li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently.</li>\n <li>Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.</li>\n <li>Experience working with electronic medical records.</li>\n <li>Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Salary:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>$40-$60/hour</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Dental insurance• Flexible schedule• Flexible spending account• Health insurance• Health savings account• Life insurance• Paid time off• Professional development assistance• Vision insurance<strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Effective </em>09/17/2023 NYC passed a Pay Transparency Law which requires NYC based hiring to include a compensation range on each job posting<em>. </em>This compensation range is presented in good faith<em> for </em>candidates that are hired<em> in </em>these roles will be presented a salary within the range stated on the job posting<em>. </em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Location: remote in Bethpage, NY 11714</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#IND1</p>\n<p> </p>",
