    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The part-time Bartender will greet and serve customers food and beverage orders for the park district restaurant and bar adjoined to River Bend Golf Club. Available hours to work include up to 29 hours per week. Will require working days, nights, and weekends.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Major responsibilities include the following.  Other responsibilities may be assigned.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">1.      Greets and serves customers food and beverage orders while providing superior customer service.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">2.      Processes customer payments accurately and efficiently.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">3.      Maintains a clean facility by clearing and wiping down tables and bar area, removing trash, washing glasses, utensils, and equipment</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">4.      Notifies Food &amp; Beverage Supervisor when inventory of products and supplies are low. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">5.      Follows procedures for staff uniforms and appearance in accordance with Illinois Health codes.  Ensures compliance with safety and</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">         sanitation regulations and food service guidelines.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">6.      Adheres to all standards set by the Illinois Department of Health and DuPage County Health Department guidelines. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">7.      Performs job safely and in compliance with the park district's policies and procedures, work rules and safety rules.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">A minimum of 1 year-experience as a bartender</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Outstanding communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Availability to work on nights and weekends</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ability to prioritize, anticipate situations, and take quick action</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Must be 21 years of age or older</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">CPR, First Aid, Food Handling, and Basset required and AED certification is required or willingness to obtain.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Physical requirements include: good speaking, hearing and vision ability, excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry boxes, cases and kegs up to 35 pounds on average.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px\">This position may be eligible to participate in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund pension program based upon hours worked..</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>",
