    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></span></p>\n<p><br>The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides comprehensive behavioral health services within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)- Look Alike setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health care to a diverse and often underserved population. The LPC is expected to provide culturally responsive, trauma- informed care and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support integrated primary and behavioral health services.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br>- Provide individual and family counseling services to patients across the lifespan (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics)<br>- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning<br>- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, solution-focused therapy)<br>- Provide culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate care, recognizing and respecting patients’ diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and values<br>- Adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique cultural, social, and economic needs of each patient<br>- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with FQHC, state, and federal requirements<br>- Collaborate with primary care providers and care team members to ensure integrated, holistic care<br>- Participate in case conferences, care coordination, and treatment team meetings<br>- Assist in crisis intervention and risk assessment, including safety planning<br>- Provide referrals to community resources and culturally appropriate support services as needed<br>- Support quality improvement initiatives and compliance with HRSA and FQHC standards</p>\n<p>- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field<br>- Active and unrestricted WI state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)<br>- Minimum of 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred<br>- Demonstrated experience working with diverse, multicultural, and underserved populations<br>- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and integrated care models<br>- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills &amp; Competencies</span></p>\n<p><br>- Bilingual or multilingual abilities strongly preferred<br>- Experience providing culturally responsive and equity-focused care<br>- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems (EPIC experience is a plus)<br>- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment<br>- Strong cultural humility and commitment to reducing health disparities<br>- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare populations and documentation standards</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment</span><br>- Clinical setting within an FQHC Look-Alike providing integrated primary and behavioral health services<br>- Diverse patient population with varying cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits </span></p>\n<p>- Competitive compensation<br>- Dental and vision insurance<br>- Holiday Pay<br>- Employer Provided Professional Liability Insurance <br>- Loan repayment eligibility (through NHSC)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equal Opportunity Employer Statement</span><br>MCHC is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse<br>and inclusive workplace.
