In addition safely transporting medically stable residents/patients via ElderWood Senior Care vehicle between medical facilities and loading transit disabled, or wheelchair bound passengers in and out of the vehicle.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h3><strong>Why Join Elderwood at North Creek?</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Weekly Pay</li>\n <li>Competitive wages based on your experience + $1.35/ hour stipend!</li>\n <li>Full suite of benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement and More!</li>\n <li>PTO & Holiday Package</li>\n <li>Employee Referral Bonuses</li>\n <li>Supportive, team-oriented environment</li>\n <li><strong>Proudly Rated 4 Stars by CMS</strong> for quality care and staffing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Make a difference every day — apply now and join the Elderwood at North Creek family, where your skills and compassion help improve the lives of those we serve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Drive responsibly and safely in order to ensure passenger safety and minimize damage or excessive wear and tear on facility vehicle; convey any mechanical problems identified with facility vehicle to the Transportation Services Coordinator as soon as possible.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition (e.g. fuel, wash, tires, and inspection); notify Transportation Services Coordinator when vehicle needs service.</p></li>\n <li><p>Comply at all times with the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws, NYS regulations contained in Article 19A, and Woodmark Transportation Manual.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure passengers are safely assisted and secured in the vehicle before departing for destination.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure safe transport of resident, personal belongings, and medical equipment to destination, as requested by resident.</p></li>\n <li><p>Notify family member or contact of new resident transfer.</p></li>\n <li><p>Notify the pick up and destination location of the time of arrival.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Twenty One (21) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalency preferred. </p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum two (2) years experience in a driving related position. </p></li>\n <li><p>Valid New York Class A, B, OR C (CDL) License with passenger endorsement. Must be clean driving record with no violations (zero points) and no accidents in the previous 36 months. Any violation is subject to individual review and subject to termination or disqualification to drive on behalf of the Company. </p></li>\n <li><p>Initial and continuous compliance with Article 19-A of the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law, which includes among other things, investigation of prior employment, prior and ongoing driving record, penal law convictions and continually passing the medical examinations, required drug testing, vision and hearing tests required pursuant to New York State regulations. </p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of local roadways and directions, which encompass driving routes. </p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of fleet vehicles and all handicap equipment including operational and safety procedures. </p></li>\n <li><p>Understanding of the rights and needs of transit disabled passengers.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
