Join our roadways team to drive forth our economies, our societies, and your career.&nbsp;<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Your Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p>Stantec's GTA based team is currently seeking a Transportation Engineering Professional</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Senior Project Manager to join our team of project managers, technical staff, and multi-discipline specialists in the completion of class environmental assessments, preliminary and detail design of transportation infrastructure projects. You will lead a team of professionals in the planning, design and construction of large-scale municipal projects in our growing roads and transit-based sector. The projects will be in various phases from environmental assessments and conceptual planning, through design, construction, and occupancy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage multiple projects as a PM for Environmental Assessments and Detailed Design Projects. Managing the approved scope, budget and schedule are of utmost importance.</li>\n <li>Lead the Design Team consisting of the Engineers, Scientists, Planners, Coordinators, Schedulers, and other consultants.</li>\n <li>Create innovative ideas and approaches to re-evaluate and improve our business.</li>\n <li>Promoting and overseeing our safety program and overall safety culture.</li>\n <li>Day-to-day project oversight and communication with the client and project team.</li>\n <li>Develop, track, update, forecast and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project.</li>\n <li>Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.</li>\n <li>Leadership and oversite of our safety program, quality reviews, plan reviews and inspections.</li>\n <li>Understand and assist in the negotiation of contracts of all parties to the project.</li>\n <li>Oversee approval of all invoices and change orders associated with the project.</li>\n <li>Evaluate, advise on and assist in resolving disputes and claims.</li>\n <li>Regular collaboration with colleagues in our multi-disciplined design office</li>\n <li>Financial management of projects and resource allocation</li>\n <li>Business development support and leading proposal development.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
