Through your dedication and specialized knowledge, you will help fulfill Legacy’s mission of making life better for others.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Legacy Silverton Medical Center</strong> serves the heart of the Willamette Valley with a wide mix of services, many not typically available in a community hospital: CT scan (computerized tomography), nuclear medicine, echocardiography, family birth center and much more.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Imaging</strong><strong>:</strong> Provides quality images with accuracy and efficiency, using optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation</strong><strong>:</strong> Gathers complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate and timely service to customers.</li>\n <li><strong>Patient Care & Safety: </strong>Provides for personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards so there is no injury to self or others.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Behavior</strong><strong>:</strong> Practices professional communications, appearance, conduct, punctuality, attendance, and attitude that lead to physician, patient and co-worker respect and confidence.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of accredited (by AMA or ARDMS) school of ultrasound or equivalent experience is required.   </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen and OB/GYN (ARDMS AB OB).  </li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>If proof of registration is not received within one year of assuming the non-certified Sonographer job, the position will be vacated by the incumbent.  </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Current state license in Sonography required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon.  </li>\n <li>BLS/CPR Certification:  American Heart Association, Health Care provider level BLS and AED Certification required.</li>\n <li>ARDMS Breast certification preferred. </li>\n <li>Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferred for vascular clinics.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $48.69 - USD $69.65 /Hr.\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
