We are a subsidiary of Nikkiso Company Ltd, a leading industrial manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with over $1.5 B in annual revenue, 8000 + employees worldwide, and publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.</p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>The Quality Engineer assures consistent quality of production by assisting with enforcement of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (“GAMP”) systems, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through continuous assurance and improvements in our Company’s products and services by maintaining the highest standards. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing, implementing, and improving the Quality Management System.</li>\n <li>In conjunction with the Project Managers, Engineers, and customers, develop Inspection Test Plans for every order.</li>\n <li>Maintain the Inspection Test Plans and ensure Nikkiso’s compliance</li>\n <li>Be the subject matter expert and oversee Regulatory Standards, coordinating with Engineering, Purchasing, and Suppliers.</li>\n <li>Review all Manufactures Data Report books to ensure ITP requirements are all incorporated.</li>\n <li>User Root Cause Analysis in troubleshooting problems or quality issues related to products or processes.</li>\n <li>Maintaining and controlling calibration records for test and inspection equipment.</li>\n <li>Participate in teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to all process related issues</li>\n <li>Ensure targeted compliance objectives are achieved.</li>\n <li>Maintains product quality by ensuring quality assurance policies and procedures in compliant with current ISO standards.</li>\n <li>Report and manage non-conformances in the data base, assisting with and ensuring resolution.</li>\n <li>Assist with Internal Audits of the Quality Management System and processes.</li>\n <li>Ensure that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing and/or Industrial</li>\n <li>2+ years’ experience in a Quality, Analyst, or Engineer role within a manufacturing environment. Will also consider recent graduate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in the use of measuring equipment, Faro Arm/CMM, Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gage</li>\n <li>Dimensional inspection experience of machined components</li>\n <li>Previous exposure to a machine shop, foundry or sheet metal shop</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>QA audit experience</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with ISO standards</li>\n <li>Understanding of standard manufacturing and safety compliance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environmental and Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls</li>\n <li>Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include week days, weekends, nights and/or holidays</li>\n <li>Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Environmental Safety Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness.</li>\n <li>All safety-related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Director.</li>\n <li>Job specific training modules deemed necessary by the employee’s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis.</li>\n <li>Understanding and ability to safely work in a potentially explosive environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPEs include safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and dust masks.
