This role partners with our operations team internally, as well as outside stakeholders to develop cost strategies, manage detailed estimates, and support successful project pursuits while mentoring junior team members.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead conceptual through detailed estimates across all construction disciplines</li>\n<li>Perform quantity takeoffs, cost modeling, and subcontractor bid leveling</li>\n<li>Analyze drawings, specifications, and market conditions to develop accurate pricing</li>\n<li>Manage subcontractor outreach, bid packages, and proposal evaluations</li>\n<li>Support value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities</li>\n<li>Collaborate with design teams, project managers, and leadership on pricing strategy and risk analysis</li>\n<li>Prepare bid summaries, presentations, and final proposal submissions</li>\n<li>Track market trends, maintain cost data, and improve estimating processes</li>\n<li>Mentor and support junior estimators and preconstruction team members</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we’re looking for</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field</li>\n<li>8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, including complex projects</li>\n<li>Expertise in conceptual estimating, takeoffs, and multi-discipline cost development</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, and market conditions</li>\n<li>Experience with both general contracting and construction management delivery models</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The O-A-K Advantage </span></p>\n<p>We offer a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">competitive compensation and benefits package, including but not limited to salary, 401(k) profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance</span>.
