If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>About the Job:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Resource Geologist at Kensington Mine will be the primary owner of the geological domains and short-range / mid-range / long-range ore control and resource models. This position collaborates closely with Mine Engineering and Mine Exploration Geology teams to optimize mine planning and ore development and build effective infill / expansion drill targets.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position is Juneau-based working a Monday - Thursday schedule at the mine site.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Stop work for safety concerns and abide by safety best practices, policies, and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and update geological models with new data inputs and interpretations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver frequent grade control production model updates to be used for Mine Planning.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with Corporate Resource Geologists on long-range mineral resource models.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and validate production / resource model inputs, drillhole database, and assay QA/QC.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with Mine Engineering and Mine Exploration Geology team to optimize ore development / resource extraction and create effective infill / expansion drilling programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform geostatistical investigations and model reconciliations as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and approve mine plan development designs and longhole stope designs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform all work in a safe and healthful manner in compliance with Company&rsquo;s safety and&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;environmental policies and procedures.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work safely and promote a strong safety culture.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">4+ years of geology experience in the mining environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven Geological modeling experience in Leapfrog Geo.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mineral resource estimation experience in Vulcan, Leapfrog Edge.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of assay QA/QC principles and best practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in geological database management systems, preferably acQuire.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data integrity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and adapt to changing operational needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset &ndash; being respectful, reliable, and easy to work with is just as important as technical skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sets high standards for self and others, builds trust, and takes accountability.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with geology and operations teams.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with Deswik Mining Software.</li></ul></div><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Preference given to Alaska residents.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Notice to Applicants:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>After submitting your application, you will receive an automated email confirming receipt.
