    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>To lead and manage the alumina brick production line, ensuring safe operations, consistent product quality, optimal productivity, cost control, and compliance with Calderys’ IMS, safety, and sustainability standards.</p><p>Plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end production of high alumina refractory bricks (shaping, drying, firing, finishing).</p><p>Achieve production targets as per monthly and annual plans with optimum utilization of manpower and equipment.</p><p>Monitor critical process parameters such as mixing, pressing pressure, moisture, firing curves, and kiln performance.</p><p>Ensure adherence to approved formulations, SOPs, and control plans.</p><p>Ensure compliance with product specifications related to AP, bulk density, CCS, PLC, and dimensional tolerances.</p><p>Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, root cause analysis of defects, and CAPA</p><p>Drive reduction in rejection, rework, and customer complaints.</p><p>Enforce EHS standards, safety procedures, and statutory requirements on the shop floor.</p><p>Ensure compliance with IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and internal audits.</p><p>Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, engineers, and operators.</p><p>Conduct skill gap analysis and on-the-job training for operators on alumina brick processes.</p><p>Support manpower planning, shift management, and performance reviews.</p><p>Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, R&amp;D, SCM, and Planning teams for smooth operations.</p><p>Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports, KPI dashboards, and MIS.</p><p>Support audits, customer visits, and technical discussions when required.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience, Skills &amp; Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Essential: B.E./B.Tech in Ceramic Engineering (Ceramic Diploma with strong experience may be considered)</li><li>5-8 years of experience in refractory manufacturing</li><li>Minimum 5 years in alumina brick production</li><li>Proven experience in kiln operations (tunnel/shuttle kilns) and high alumina products</li><li>Strong knowledge of alumina raw materials, batching, pressing, drying, firing</li><li>Understanding refractory testing methods and quality standards</li><li>Exposure to SAP (PP/MM) and production reporting systems</li></ul>",
