Manage the overall activity of material flow, warehousing (internal and external), and shipping &amp; receiving to ensure safe and efficient storage, retrieval and movement of all Eberspaecher products.&nbsp;<p><strong>Essential Accountabilities:</strong> The position incumbent ensures the following</p><ul><li>Ability to create weekly and monthly performance/statistical report(s) relating to departmental performance in areas critical to the overall success of the departmental measurable and requirements.</li><li>Manage all aspects of outside storage (trailers, warehouses, sub-contractors) to the same policies and procedures as the EETAM plant to ensure high inventory accuracy, service and performance.</li><li>Assist in the determination of an appropriate corrective action to eliminate future occurrences. &nbsp;Effective implementation of approved correction action(s).&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and enforce procedures to maintain high levels of housekeeping disciplines and 100% control of all inventory storage and movement within all warehouse and stock room locations.</li><li>Assists in the overall coordination and execution of the EETAM&rsquo;s plants physical inventories.</li><li>Manage, train, and develop all subordinates with regards to their job functions and material flow processes in accordance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Effectively manage packaging systems and strategy relating to Customer and Supplier returnables to ensure inventory accuracy, flow and cardboard reductions strategies to support production at all times.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all customer outbound communication and labeling conformance/requirements.</li><li>Ensure department compliance relating to all company and governmental safety standards. &nbsp;</li><li>Improve and Maintain systems to support accurate records of all shippers, freight, and delivery information and any other data relating to customer shipments/delivery.</li><li>Implement lean flow strategies within the manufacturing floor to implement a fork free environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Provide systems and procedures for the safe and efficient use of all departmental material handling equipment.</li><li>Supports and promotes ENA core values, Environmental, health and safety and quality policies.</li><li>Logistics, transportation and freight experience strongly preferred as well as having EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) with customers background.</li></ul><p><strong>Secondary Accountabilities:</strong> The position incumbent ensures, that</p><ul><li>Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.</li><li>Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety &amp; Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.</li><li>Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirement Profile:</strong></p><p><strong>Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree Materials, Logistics or Warehousing/Distribution.</li><li>Minimum&nbsp;five years&rsquo; related experience in Materials Logistics or Warehouse/Distribution environment.</li><li>Minimum five years&rsquo;&nbsp;supervisory experience in manufacturing environment.</li><li>Forklift Certification required.</li><li>Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.</li><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in SAP.</li><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge in Microsoft Office.&nbsp;</li><li>Solid working knowledge of Materials and Logistics Functions within a manufacturing environment with abilities to manage space.</li><li>Strong experience in Lean concepts, cost savings initiatives and visual warehouse techniques</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.</li><li>Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures<strong>.</strong></li><li>Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions.</li><li>Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability.</li><li>Knowledge of engineering fundaments, mechanical systems, automotive systems, and exhaust systems.</li><li>Knowledge of federal and state regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Project Management- Develops project plans;
